Summer Events
Popsicles on the Playground (June- Aug, 1-2 per mo)
During the summer months we have opportunities for you to bring your child to our school and see what we’re all about. We have a wonderful playground that your child can play on, you can meet other families enrolled or just come see if our school is the right fit for you. We hope you come and see what we’re about.
Fall Events
Family Spaghetti Dinner (September or October) $
We have a fun family friendly event hosted by the Parent Board, Its a fun Family Spaghetti Dinner for all the current enrolled Tender Years families to meet each other and have some fun. It is $7 per adult, $5 per child.
Pumpkin Farm Field Trips (October) $
In October, both the 3s and 4s classes visit local pumpkin farms. The classes visit Blooms and Berries in Loveland. There are lots of fun activities for the children, including a hay ride and picking out their own pumpkins. This is a great Family Fun event that all family members can attend with the student. PP fee.
Trunk or Treat (October)
This event is a fun NON-Spooky event, hosted by Loveland Presbyterian Church. We are excited to be a part of it at our school, where members from the community can come out and decorate their car, and pass out candy to the children.
Winter Events
Chili Cook off Event- Split the Pot (January) $
This event pairs with our 1st day of registration for the public. Come have a Family Fun Night at the school and check out our classes. Tender Years to provide salad and dressings and dessert. Bring a crockpot full of chili to share, and enter your chili into our cook off for $20. All entries will be voted on at the end of the night and the winner will split-the-pot with the school. Premier Tumbling & Dance
Premier Tumbling and Dance has always been a fun Trip we get to take. Students get to have fun in a 1 hour class with their classmates.
Special Persons’ Night (February or March)
This is a wonderful opportunity for our Tender Years students to invite a special person, such as a family member, adult friend, etc., to come spend an evening at their school. The student and their special friend will participate together in a shortened version of the school day, which includes circle time, a fun art activity and a special snack.
Spring Events
Pottery Trip $
Students will go to a local Potter, and learn about how to make a pottery piece, and be able to decorate an item. PP Fee.
Cheers for Tender Years Bike Rally (April)
This is our annual fundraising event, which takes place every April. Our enrolled children will have the opportunity to raise money from their family to sponsor them for the laps they ride. We have some other fun activities as well. All proceeds go directly to our school. Many partnering businesses around the community sponsor our school for this event. This is open to the public for anyone to attend!
Art Show
We are very excited to have our own Mrs. T coordinate a wonderful art program! The art show will coordinate with our Cheers Bike Rally. Each student will have 1-2 pieces in the art show.
Special Person’s Day Tea (April)
In honor of those special people in our childrens lives, they get to invite their SPECIAL PERSON to school for a special tea and celebration.
End of the Year Events (May)
4’s only Library Trip
Our 4’s class will take a trip to the Local Library, have story time and get a library card if they don’t have one.
threes End of Year Celebration
Families from the 3-year-old classes are invited to attend and celebrate the end of their child’s first year of preschool with a short party planned by the parents, which includes a presentation of certificates of completion.
fours Graduation
Families from the 4-year-old classes are invited to attend the preschool graduation, in which a cap and gown ceremony will take place. A short party planned by the parents will follow after the presentation of awards & diplomas.
fours School Bus Field Trip- $ ** in years able
Following graduation, for our Fabulous Fours, we plan a field trip to a local park, that allows our children to ride a school bus with a parent in preparation for the first day of kindergarten. This experience is often a favorite memory for the children! Pending calendar dates this may coordinate with the End-of-Year Picnic. Due to rise in costs, and bus driver shortage, this event is not always available every year. PP fee.
End-of-Year Picnic
All current and incoming Tender Years families are invited to Miami Riverview Park for a fun-filled picnic, where we can say goodbye to those preschoolers who have just graduated and say hello to our new incoming members.
